Man, I miss FF XIV. Lucky, you’re rocking it. So great to see!

I just started and played for a few hours the other day on free trial, got to lvl 28 Marauder. Do the graphics get better as the zones progress? Thats my main issue with the game so far.

After reading some responses and comments its crazy to me how some ppl think p2w is necessary for a mmo to stay alive. I personally agree with the concept of a subscription, some games do it really well others not so much but a standard is you pay a small momthly fee that sustains the game and pays the devs, this'll get you cosmetics, access to paid content and in game currency. Pretty much every mmo has a premium store to buy cosmetics, mounts, etc. That shouldnt exist, I believe everything should be obtainable in-game, if devs want higher revenue slap it on the subscription or the actual price tag for the game, of course get too greedy and i guarantee players may steer clear from your game, micro transactions being micro just makes them good at concealing the fact you might spend too much on items that have no benefit to you besides your characters looks. Its possible to make a good modern mmo rpg today, its just devs take it as a big risk because they dont know how to make something that will last and bring in revenue.

8:50 I use a macro to change jobs, it changes the jobs and applies glammers (some glammers can't be used on other classes sadly) and also I have it set to auto cast the tank passive (I'm going from memory here so this might be wrong - and I can't check since the game is down for maintenance for the next two days) here is what that macro looks like: (mine also hides the hotbar my class change macros are on) /gs 1 1 <wait.1> /ac "iron will" The first # is the gear set number in your gearset list and the 2nd # is the number for the glammer plate you want to apply, you do have to wait 1 second between changing jobs and casting tank passive or it might not cast it.

I was surprised that eso was only 6th on the list and not surprised ffxiv was 2nd on the list it's one of the most successful mmorpg's out there it's up there with wow

I just started play FFXIV this past weekend and now the servers are all down for 2 days maintenance time for the new Expansion. This video is goint to be my happy place until the servers come back up. lol Seriously, thank you so much for this huge video. There is a lot of great information in here that I had no idea about. Thanks for this very detailed video! A couple of additions to the mount basics that took me a while to find out. Right Button and Right Trigger both work to attack with your main weapon on the right side. Left Button and Left Trigger will also attack with your main weapon, but on your left side. Also, holding one of the triggers to charge a heavy attack while mounted will do some pretty cool heavy attacks that are different for each weapon. An easy way to dismount is L3. :)

I have 1000 hours in this game over 5 years. I didn't know about materia extraction...

Well, godskin decided that he will resist eepy sleepy granades, so i had to parkour my way out of volcano manor (no runes tho :((). Still, thanks a lot, cause i actually learned a lot from this tutorial

Regarding Hall of the Novice, if you do all 7 missions it gives you a ring that has good stats for starting out, plus also it boosts your XP gain up until level 30! I'm actually still using it for the stats despite being level 40 because I haven't found anything better yet 😂 so it's 100% worth doing!!

@luckyGhost what is the add-on you're running here that lets your daily pledges show up as blue in the dungeon finder? I can't find it and I went through your whole add-on video.

ESO does not have the DEDICATED trinity Tank, Healer, DPS.

I just feel like anything single player just isn’t my thing anymore. Open World MMO is the way to go. All these lists always just show single player games.

Wife and I play on PC but with controllers. I'm curious how many of these are actually safe to use with controllers, especially many of the UI changing ones Also, do you have anything that'll add an icon to the compass of party members that are not the lead? Sometimes I'm the lead and there is no icon for her so I lose her and when she's is the lead then she loses track of me instead.

1:20:10 I only just learned about this the other day, and I'm a quarter of the way through chapter three..... It's never too late to learn, I guess! 🤣 1:22:02 Also, there's literally a gold-bag icon on the minimap indicating that Aaron is a merchant.

As a new player this game has me confused haha. I am like level 15 have not died yet and honestly all the enemies and dungeon bosses I’ve faced have not given me any sorts of trouble. Is there a way to increase the difficulty and does the game get harder as you go? Because right now I don’t even have a build or a gear set and I’m just running through everything…

avowed is not open world tho. it's like the outer worlds, many smaller maps with loadings between.

At 34:44 the volcano manor cliff jump, how are you immediately going into rolls, my character "staggers" upon impact and immediately burns lol. I'm jumping exactly where you do haha. Great guide, thanks! Edit: no armor equipped only the meteorite wand. Edit2: made it. Not sure what changed but whatever haha.

Little correction here: I just got the yesterday, and you definitely do find weapons. Enemies seem to drop them a lot, actually.

I want to like it because of the period of Star Wars it’s in, but ubi has a piss poor rep for good games recently. All for U charted in space but I need to see legit gameplay (not ubiquitous putting its polished foot forward) before I make any decisions.

I first purchased Elden ring when it came out and played for like a couple hours then got bored or lost, I heard the DLC was coming out and thought why not try again. This guide has made the experience so much more enjoyable. I think ive liked about 6 videos in my entire time watching youtube, this like was worth it more than anything.
